My group once supported The Stimulators at The Project Arts Centre in Dublin in 1980. We had a deal that they could use our backline gear for a small fee (since they weren’t bringing any of their own on tour). They ripped us off, as their manager refused point-blank to pay us after the show. Harley Flanagan even threw our drummer’s drum sticks into the audience, as though they were his own, and we were never compensated. It wasn’t like our drummer was rich. What wankers, especially their manager – and Harley Flanagan!
